OpenClaw Studio
Privacy policy
OpenClaw Studio is a private, single-owner assistant. The owner authorizes the Gmail connection through Google and can revoke it at any time.
What the Gmail connection can access
The connection uses Gmail's read-only permission to search mail and read messages, threads, and labels. This can include message text and metadata such as sender, subject, and date. The connector uses this information to answer the owner's requests. It cannot send, change, or delete mail.
Where data is processed and stored
The connector retrieves data from Google's Gmail API. A language model running on the owner's Mac processes it. Chat history on the Mac may contain retrieved information and summaries, which the owner can remove using OpenClaw's history controls. Authorized devices can view replies through the owner's private OpenClaw connection. The public website has no access to Gmail data or the assistant.
OAuth credentials are stored on the Mac in an encrypted local credential store. The integration does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train models. OpenClaw Studio's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
How to revoke access
Remove OpenClaw Studio in Google Account connections to stop future Gmail access. To remove information already retrieved, delete the relevant local chat history and any copies you saved. For questions, use the support contact shown on Google's consent screen.
